Default Secret Messages in Classical Music, need more examples

Hi guys, I am new to the forum so I do not know whether I posting this in the right topic.
The thing is, I plan to do a written presentation, kind of like an article on secret messages hidden inside classical music. I am looking for something like Bach's "The Musical Offering" which is full of ingeniously hidden messages against Frederick the Great.
http://jan.ucc.nau.edu/~tas3/musoffcanons.html
I need more examples of musical pieces which have messages like this one. They can be from any era.
I am not a student of music and I am only a recently converted classical music fan so I am unable to find relevant examples.
Any help will be appreciated.

Just look up Brahms and "allusion" on google scholar or something. Schumann likes this too. And Shostakovich. Plenty of examples, just hunt around.

Schoenberg, Berg, and Webern made a habit of including allusions to Bach in their compositions. Schoenberg's op. 31 Variations for Orchestra contained a repeated B-A-C-H motif. Berg's Violin Concerto quoted a lengthy passage from a Bach chorale.

There of course really secret messages in music. I read a book (also secret) revealing them. I could tell you, but then... .

But these examples are hardly 'secret'. Incidentally, the B-A-C-H motifs of course only work in German solfège ('H' being a non-existent note in Anglo and latinate notation). In France, B-A-C-H spells Si-bémol - La - Do - Si.
Ergo : S-bémolLDS. Hmm, that's very secret.

There are of course 'lost messages' in music, perhaps one notable example being Beethoven's Missa solemnis. I am referring here to Warren Kirkendale's essay "New Roads to Old Ideas ...".

Don't !!!! To be frank, I'm a little bit skeptical of the entire notion. I think you are too, Noseeum.

I'm unable to contribute much on this topic without revising references to Alban Berg's "secret messages" based around HF and AB and the numbers 10 and 23 to Hanna Fuchs in his Lyric Suite. I can't recall if other works contained references to her. I'll have a look.
