One of the very first (if not the first, at least in the west) complete recordings of the symphonic poems. These pieces were really out of fashion- a sensation and a revelation in the early 1970s, with Haitink and the LPO at their best, and using the latest editions by the Liszt scholar (and composer) Humphrey Searle.
Strongly recommended, Haydnguy

Chose this particular one because it was cheaper plus I liked the Naxos edition of Symphonies 2 and 5.

Default Rachmaninov Piano Recital

My favorite is Sergei Rachmaninoff performing Waltz in E flat major, Op. 18. on a Steinway piano concert grand.

I heard some really interesting music on the chamber recitals at the Eastern Music Festival this past summer. Composers new to me include Grazyna Bacewicz and Ervin Schulhoff. I'll be looking for music by both of them the next time I get in a buying mood.
