Smile English versus Italian

Do you prefer your renaissance music with pizza topping or wrapped in an old newspaper? Palestrina or Tallis? I personally like that cheesy crust with pepperoni! But there's much to be said for cod 'n' chips.
Here's some Tallis! Pass the vinegar!

Absolutely awesome.

I love Palestrina too, of course, but I have a soft spot for Tallis. His first job was as organist at Dover Priory, quite near where I was born.

I think we Brits should be very, very proud of Tallis. And I love the way he stayed out of trouble despite all that flip-flopping between the protestant and catholic churches.

Wow. I arrive at work, blech, got a long day ahead of me, blech, a crap load of issues to deal with, blech, then I listen to the Tallis and it all just melts away. Makes me just want to curl up and nap under my desk with a contented smile.

Thanks

Well, nothing actually. I was a bit turned off by the raw horse meat, though.

Though, being a sushi fan, raw fish is a different matter!
