This was a great article about a place everyone has seen, but nobody knows!
I love this kind of article. 2 years ago I was on holiday in Ukraine in the Crimea - a beautiful resort area of beaches, mountains, and former palaces of the C19th Tsarist aristocracy and monarchy. But in a beautiful harbour town that's a modern yacht marina today, there's a strange museum underground....

i have seen many TV shows that have this same theme -
so many large cities have underground areas with all kinds of past histories. almost every major city has them. and not to mention the oldest ones where past eras have been covered over in the same city - like Alexandria Egypt. Berlin is always a favorite. |
