Free Promotion for BrightCecilia Members

Anyone involved directly in classical music, e.g. performers, composers, teachers and students, both professional and amateur, may promote themselves free of charge through brightcecilia.com membership. Third parties, e.g. publishers and established instrument makers, must pay for advertising.*

Everyone can promote themselves for free on the internet, but your target audience needs to know where to look. The web is a large place, and search facilities can be chaotic. BrightCecilia, however, occupies a good position on Google, with each page tagged for search engine optimisation.

The BrightCecilia forums and related pages are designed to encourage people to try out new (to them) areas of the classical genre but within a structured and easy-to-use framework. The site is safe, friendly, professionally run, and reaches instantly a global internet audience.

A variety of publicity may be available, from concert brochures tagged for search engine optimisation uploaded to the BrightCecilia server, to entries in the online calendar, to embedded videos, to general discussion in the forums of up-and-coming events and projects, to participation in our Links Exchange and entries in the BrightCecilia Showcase.

Possibly. It's the honeymoon period atm: tiny hosting costs, small database, light software zipping along, no advertising of any kind.

Ideally, I'll find some nice harpsichord makers, a small music publishing house, a music college or two, and a start-up classical record label to take some space tucked away somewhere neat and unobtrusive. I hate forums with great flashing adds. Some even insert them between posts. That won't happen here. Never say never, but for a few months, possibly longer, no advertising of any kind should be necessary.

Seriously, if you know some nice Greek, manufacturing balalaikas in an olive grove who'd like some cheap publicity, ask him to get in touch.

Hi, I thought I would link to my latest project that some here may appreciate (this is not a bot BTW ). One of the reasons I joined up.

Melancholic, film soundtrack, minimal piano ideas.

I wasn't sure where to post as the site has many sections, but this seemed the most logical without getting a thread deleted by a moderator
