Victoria & Albert Museum: musical instrument collection closure |

A sad day at the Victoria and Albert Museum yesterday, Sunday 21st February 2010, with the closure of Gallery 40a, which housed the musical instruments collection. It will be replaced by a fashion display. The instruments will be distributed to other galleries or placed in storage. The following images were taken yesterday, in bad light, through dusty glass display cases. I took some video too, which I'll post on the thread. |
